MUSEUM ACRYLIC DISPLAY CASES
Art is meant to be shared but it must also be protected. For over forty years, Architectural Plastics has protected and preserved art for several world class museums, exhibit houses, art galleries and private collectors. Traditionally, museum curators were limited to glass panels supported by cumbersome metal frames to protect their collections. With the advent of crystal clear acrylic, modern and minimal cases became possible.
Acrylic Museum Display Cases
Architectural Plastics and its fabrication team are known for their flawless glue seams. This is made possible by a proprietary glue formulated at Architectural Plastics and specialized fabrication techniques. Cases can be made to your specifications or designed by Architectural Plastics to suit your needs.
Acrylic Box Frames
Made to the same exacting standards as the display cases, box frames offer a wall mounted solution for protecting artwork. These frames can fully cover artwork, eliminating the risk of damage.
Acrylic Artifact Stands
Due to the diversity of artwork and artifacts in the world, almost every exhibit needs custom made stands to hold up certain pieces for display. Architectural Plastics designs and makes custom stands from clear acrylic to perfectly support artifacts and be minimally noticeable.
A perfect addition to your display case is a made-to-match pedestal to support it. Architectural Plastics makes all of its products under one roof to ensure a perfect fit and reduced turnaround times. Pedestals and plinths are made in clear, glossy black, matte black, glossy white and matte white acrylics. They also will not offgas like a painted or stained wooden pedestal will; adding and extra layer of safety for the artwork.
