Modern Wine Cellar

This cellar, located in Beverly Hills, is an excellent example of the benefits of using clear acrylic in wine cellar design.  The crystal clear wine racks designed and made by Architectural Plastics act as a partition, enclosed either side with glass, between two central spaces of the home: the kitchen and the den.

This modern home was created in collaboration with DIJ Group and is a demonstration of what’s currently possible in new home design.  The Architectural Plastics design team enjoys using light as a “physical” medium when creating wine cellars. This particular cellar was elevated by framing the wine wall with thin LED panels on the top, bottom and sides of the space.  The resulting glow creates a shimmering wall of light at night while still offering a playful glimpse between the kitchen and den.
